Occupational Medicine-Your Valued Partner in Biosafety: A Distance Learning Opportunity

Occupational Health is often referred to as a multi-disciplinary approach to developing and ensuring compliance with safe working practices, and maintaining the health and well-being of those employed in a particular occupation or workplace.  This live webinar will focus on the latest in occupational health information and will include a wide range of topics to be considered in an effective occupational health program including developing appropriate questionnaires and trainings for everything from allergies and zoonotic diseases to exposure response and good record keeping.

In addition, topics of special interest, such as travel medicine and reproductive toxicity, will be introduced.  The webinar will be presented by: T. Warner Hudson, MD FACOEM, FAAFP, University of California–Los Angeles Health System and Campus, Los Angeles, CA and Thomas H. Winter, MD, FACOEM, FACPM, Harvard School of Public Health, Boston, MA.  This webinar will be a 2-hour webinar session on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 12:00pm CDT.

For the webinar, you should plan on logging in at 11:45 am (CDT) on August 19.  You are required to attend the webinar session, complete the pre and post assessments, and evaluation in order to earn P.A.C.E.® Contact Hours*.   This course has been approved for 0.25 CM points toward RBP/CBSP recertification.
