CSC manages this multi-year (2000-2003), $200,000/year, asbestos and lead project for the DOT. Work entails pre-demolition surveys. The project is comprised of conducting asbestos and lead surveys on properties that are scheduled for demolition.


The scope of work includes collecting samples of suspect asbestos-containing materials, perform XRF lead-based paint surveys, and generate both asbestos and lead-based paint reports. The reports must include: a) area of property surveyed and quantities of each material, b) detailed description of each property, c) methods used in performing the analysis, d) a list of asbestos and lead-based paint materials, e) laboratory result sheets, f) drawings that shows sample locations, and g) conclusion and recommendations.
