An extensive Microsoft ACCESS database of pesticides used on a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables was developed and is currently maintained by the consultant. This database tracks pesticide toxicology, worker safety concerns, and acceptable residue levels for over 200 chemicals on a number of crops as established in the United States and other designated countries worldwide. This database is used by the environmental managers within the company on a daily basis to aid in making choices on appropriate chemical use. In addition, assistance in all areas of pesticide toxicology is provided by the consultant in the role as a scientific advisor to the company.
